Synopsis: A script about committing heresy in ancient Egypt.
Djinn's special rules:
- Bad Translation: An evil Librarian may learn false information.
- Already Mummified: A dead Kazali may not choose to live if chosen by the Al-Hadikhia.
Notes
This is an evolution of a script about kooky win conditions. It's a little more balanced than the original version, but it's still essentially a goofy script that's not be taken too seriously. Exclusively for players who hear the phrase "Alchemist Pit-Hag" and go "I'm in!!"
Fun interactions
Knight
I love the Knight on an Al-Hadikhia script: anything that gives otherwise-expendable players an interesting reason to choose "live" is, I think, really fun. It also goes great with the Innkeeper who can try and keep them alive until final 3. Its info only goes stale if there is a Snake Charming or a Pit-Hag creates a new demon: in either case, it will get a big clue and evil are probably already on the ropes.
Librarian
Whether or not it sees a Heretic, Librarian is very powerful here and a difficult bluff for the evil team. Again, I like anything that gives good players who might not otherwise choose "live" a reason to survive, and the Librarian might be the only confirmed player. Please note the special rule Bad Translation that permits the Storyteller to lie to an evil Pit-Hag.
Engineer
I'm proud of this: a rare Engineer script where making a Kazali isn't the obvious choice! Neither Demon is better or worse for town, they're just different. The Al-Hadikhia might kill faster, but gives town more control over who lives and dies. The Kazali is more agile than the Al-Hadikhia, and can more effectively avoid triggering characters like the Farmer and the Banshee.
Minstrel
It's always possible for the evil team to simulate a Minstrel night, but it requires co-ordination. The Cerenovus can bury the madness on an evil player, the Pit-Hag can try to turn someone into an in-play character, the Fearmonger can choose not to change target, the Organ Grinder can drunk themselves, the Al-Hadikhia can refuse to pick and the Kazali can sink a kill. If there is an Alchemist Cerenovus in-play, consider that they might give the game away.
Ogre
The Ogre is a lot of fun here: if the evil team believe the Ogre is on their team, they can use the Pit-Hag ability to upgrade them into a minion. In play-testing, the Pit-Hag and Alchemist Pit-Hag have enjoyed turning Townsfolk into Ogres, too.
Pit-Hag
Watch out for evil Banshees and Farmers. The Pit-Hag can create a Farmer on the same night the Kazali kills an evil player, or turn itself into a Banshee then choose to die to the Al-Hadikhia.
